1st Shift Mig WelderJoin a growing team that builds custom dust collection and ventilation systems for major manufacturing facilities. We're looking for a skilled Mig Welder who enjoys hands-on fabrication, working with custom projects, and being part of a collaborative shop environment. This is a great opportunity with long-term potential for the right candidate.What You'll Do:Perform Mig welding on custom-built ductwork and ventilation components using thin-gauge carbon steel, galvanized steel, and stainless steel.Read and interpret blueprints to complete layouts, fitting, tacking, and welding with precision.Fabricate and assemble custom sheet metal products using 14-16 gauge materials.Operate fabrication equipment including press brakes, shears, rollers, saws, and grinders.Take accurate measurements and ensure quality workmanship throughout the fabrication process.Support team production efforts in a fast-paced, job shop environment where every project is unique.Maintain a safe, organized work area while meeting production schedules and quality standards.What We're Looking For:2+ years of Mig welding experience in a custom fabrication or manufacturing environment.Strong experience working with thin-gauge sheet metal.Ability to read blueprints and perform layouts independently.Excellent tape measure and material measurement skills.A dependable team player willing to work overtime as needed.Schedule:1st Shift: Monday-Friday, starting at 5:00 AMCurrent production demands require 11-12 hour shifts, with frequent overtime extending the day to approximately 4:30 PM-5:30 PM.Why Join Us?Competitive pay with flexibility for experienced welders (recent hires up to $25/hr)Steady overtime opportunitiesHands-on work building custom products, not repetitive production weldingCross-training and skill development opportunitiesPotential for permanent hire and long-term career growthApply today to join a team that takes pride in building high-quality custom solutions while maintaining a strong, supportive workplace culture.This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Denver, PA.The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $25.00/hr.Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
