What you will do:Operate and set up printing equipment for production runs.Read work orders and follow production schedules.Adjust machine and ink settings to meet quality standards.Inspect products for print quality, color accuracy, and defects.Troubleshoot machine and production issues.Verify quantities, labels, and order accuracy.Complete quality checks and production materials and equipment for upcoming jobs.Inspect and maintain tooling and equipment.Report quality or equipment concerns to supervisors.Cross-train on other equipment and support team with training and supporting team members. What you bring to the table:A high school diploma or GED and experience working in a manufacturing environment.The ability to safely operate machines, follow instructions, and learn new processes quickly.Strong attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and a team-first attitude.The ability to multitask, stay focused in a fast-paced environment, and meet production goals.Basic math skills for measuring, counting, and making simple stamina to stand for long periods, lift up to 50 lbs., and work in a warm, active production setting.Flexibility to work a rotating night shift schedule, including weekends.Nice to Have:Technical training in manufacturing or plastics processing.Two or more years’ experience with machine operation, preference in Flexo PrintingExperience with sheet, film, corrugated, or hollow profile extrusion processes.Familiarity with extrusion equipment, controls, or production software. The ideal candidate for this position will be someone who excels working in a demanding and fast paced environment and demonstrates excellent prioritization, decision making and time management skills.This is an operator level position for work in a manufacturing environment. Training is provided to help you grow your career. You will be joining a crew of 3-9 people working as a team to accomplish the operating goals of the shift. Duties/Responsibilities:Read and evaluates job ticket, print card, and CAD drawings, follows production schedules, prioritizes, and organizes. xmvmafu Sets-up machine, hangs print plates, starts ink pumping, and sets up pre-feederStarts/stops machine, registers print within tolerances on the print card and CADChecks color against available swatch or sample, adjust the viscosity and PH balance according to specDouble checks product for the following, but not limited to; sheet quality, print quality, color layout (per print card), and scrap ejectingTrouble shoot and fix any non- conformance issues, fills out the quality check sheetDetermines appropriate machine speed to meet production goals while maintaining consistent qualityDouble checks to make sure load quantities and load tags are correct for the orderPerforms a complete inspection of one entire blank (2-out, 3-out, etc.) for each finished load during the runMaintains inks at optimum performance levels by checking and adjusting PH and ViscosityEffectively troubleshoots operating problemsRecognize nonconforming products and advises supervisorPreps for upcoming orders by staging ink and print plates as well as load tagsInspects to ensure all is correct and/or in good working orderCompletes order in computer, fills out last load sheet. Fills out quantity, date, and prints last load tag at correct quantityRecords time, quantity, order number, on Production ReportInspects tooling when taking off and fills out print die repair form if needed and turns it in to SupervisorCross train on other machinesSwitch duties with Assistant/helper as necessaryTrain and assist assistant/helper with job duties or machineRequirements: Education and Experience:High school diploma or equivalentWriting, mathematical skills, and a basic mechanical understandingPossesses knowledge and experience in corrugated industry; as well as color and printingFamiliar with the Quality Management SystemTwo or more years’ experience with machine operation, preference in Flexo PrintingExperience with printing presses, working safely with chemicals, and reading/using a measuring tape Physical Requirements:Ability to handle fast pace and high stress environmentAbility to withstand dusty and noisy conditionsAbility to lift at least 50 lbs. and push/pull at least 50 lbs.Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel or stoop for extended periods of time Compensation details: 24-29 Hourly Wage PIf6f5fd0c9de5-254
