Protean Med is recruiting a Locum MFM Physician for a 7-month engagement in Richmond, Virginia starting September 15, 2026. 95% high-risk practice, onsite ultrasound, genetic counselor support, and full travel reimbursement.

Richmond, VA (2 clinic sites 30 min apart) Sept 15, 2026 April 15, 2027 Office + inpatient Level III Nursery EMR: Epic + Viewpoint 27 scheduled patients/day RN educator, sonographer, genetic counselor onsite Onsite ultrasound: GE 10 NP support rotating between sites

Schedule: Clinic: Mon Fri 8:00 AM 4:15 PM Nightly call weekdays + 24-hour weekend call Minimum 1 2 weeks per month required

Procedures: Amniocentesis, CVS, cerclage (preferred), pre-eclampsia, multiple pregnancy, growth restriction, chromosomal & congenital abnormalities, pre-term labor, hypertension, thrombophilia, genetic disorders, vaginal & cesarean birth, high-risk maternal/fetal co-morbidities

Requirements:

• BC/BE Maternal Fetal Medicine
• Fellowship trained
• Active Virginia license
• BLS
• AIUM Certification preferred
• Minimum 1 2 weeks/month availability
• NPDB Self-Query within 30 days at submission
• Full travel reimbursed (flights, hotel, rental car, mileage)
