The Calibration Technician will support calibration activities, equipment documentation, and field services while ensuring compliance with quality and accuracy standards. This role offers opportunities for growth and increased responsibility within the calibration and metrology field.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform iButton calibrations and generate associated calibration reports.
- Prepare and maintain iButton Out-of-Tolerance (OOT) reports.
- Create and apply instrument and equipment labels.
- Update and maintain calibration tracking lists and documentation.
- Assist with on-site field calibration activities and customer support.
- Set up PCD rooms and environmental chambers for studies and calibration projects.
- Support the Calibration Manager with calibration-related tasks and special projects.
- Maintain accurate records in accordance with company quality procedures.
- Follow established calibration protocols, safety guidelines, and regulatory requirements.
- Perform additional duties and responsibilities as assigned.
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to accurately document and maintain calibration records.
- Effective communication and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Reliable attendance and professional work ethic.
- Knowledge of metrology principles and calibration processes.
- Experience working with calibration equipment, environmental monitoring devices, or laboratory instruments.
- Ability to take a lead role during field calibration assignments.
- Demonstrated capacity to assume additional responsibilities and contribute to process improvements.
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift equipment as needed.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
- Ability to travel to customer sites for field calibrations when required.
- Ability to work in laboratory, warehouse, office, and field environments.
