Job Title: Echocardiography Technologist (Echo Tech)
Location: Cape May, NJ
Employment Type: 3 month contract, 40 hours per week,8am - 430pm

Position Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Echo Tech to join our healthcare team. The Echo Tech will be responsible for performing high-quality cardiac ultrasound procedures to assist physicians in diagnosing and treating heart conditions. This role requires strong technical expertise, patient care skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced clinical environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform transthoracic echocardiograms (TTE), stress echocardiograms, and assist with transesophageal echocardiograms (TEE)
• Acquire and analyze cardiac ultrasound images for interpretation by physicians
• Ensure accurate documentation of patient history and exam findings
• Monitor patient condition during procedures and respond appropriately
• Maintain and operate ultrasound equipment, ensuring proper functionality
• Collaborate with cardiologists and healthcare team members to provide optimal patient care
• Adhere to all safety, infection control, and regulatory standards
• Educate patients on procedures and provide reassurance throughout exams

Qualifications:

• Completion of an accredited Diagnostic Medical Sonography or Echocardiography program
• Registered with American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) or Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI)
• Current BLS certification
• EPIC Experience

Skills & Competencies:

• Strong knowledge of cardiac anatomy, physiology, and pathology
• Excellent imaging and technical skills
• Strong attention to detail and critical thinking abilities
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team

Ability to navigate through an electronic medical record.

Coming from a high volume home health role, will see 5-6 patients per day with high volume of documentation
