Platform Engineer / SRE-DevOps Engineer (Redshift)

POSITION
Platform Engineer / SRE-DevOps Engineer (Redshift)
REQUIRED SKILLS
- Strong hands-on experience administering and supporting Amazon Redshift.
- Experience working with AWS services such as S3, IAM, CloudWatch, Glue, Lambda, and Secrets Manager.
- Strong knowledge of SQL, data warehousing concepts, and database performance tuning.
- Experience building CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, AWS CodePipeline, or similar tools.
- Experience with infrastructure-as-code tools such as Terraform or AWS CloudFormation.
- Proficiency with Python, Bash, PowerShell, or another scripting language.
- Understanding of Redshift architecture, workload management, concurrency scaling, and data distribution.
- Experience with monitoring, alerting, logging, and production incident management.
- Familiarity with Git-based version control and Agile development practices.
- Strong troubleshooting, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- AWS certification, such as AWS Certified DevOps Engineer, Database Specialty, or Solutions Architect.
- Experience with Amazon Redshift Serverless and Redshift Spectrum.
- Experience with container technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
- Knowledge of data transformation tools such as dbt.
- Experience supporting large-scale enterprise data platforms.
- Familiarity with data governance, compliance, and cloud security best practices.
- Experience with observability tools such as Datadog, Splunk, Grafana, or Prometheus.
