DevOps Platform Engineer

Job DescriptionJob OverviewThe DevOps / Platform Engineer builds and maintains the technical infrastructure that enables AGS'sentire AI program to run reliably in production. This is a hands-on individual contributor role responsible for cloud infrastructure, CI/CD pipelines, container orchestration, and the agentic AI deployment platform. The DevOps Engineer is a prerequisite for the AI program — without reliable infrastructure, no agent or model can be deployed to production.Responsibilities Provision and manage the agentic AI platform infrastructure — LLM API gateway, vectordatabase (Pinecone/pgvector), container-based agent deployment, and model serving endpointsContainer orchestration — manage Docker containers, Kubernetes or Azure Container Apps,Helm charts, and health monitoring for all deployed servicesImplement monitoring and observability — deploy Datadog, Azure Monitor, or equivalent forinfrastructure health, application performance, AI model latency, and cost trackingImplement security controls at the infrastructure level — secrets management (Azure KeyVault), network segmentation, IAM integration, and infrastructure-level security policiesSupport game build pipelines — understand and support the Unity game build processincluding certification compliance checkpoints and regulatory requirementsBuild and maintain CI/CD pipelines for game software, AI models, and business applications —automated build, test, and deployment without manual interventionCreate developer-friendly infrastructure — reduce friction for game developers, AI engineers,and data engineers so they can ship without infrastructure blockersSkills/Requirements 5–8 years of DevOps or platform engineering experience, with demonstrated ownership ofcloud infrastructure at a company of comparable technical complexityAzure and/or AWS expertise — deep hands-on experience with at least one major cloudprovider; Azure preferred given AGS's Microsoft ecosystemInfrastructure as code proficiency — Terraform, Bicep, or Pulumi for reproducible, auditablecloud environmentsContainer and orchestration experience — Docker, Kubernetes, or Azure Container Apps;Helm chart management; experience scaling containerized workloadsAI/ML infrastructure experience — has deployed LLM-based applications or ML models toproduction; experience with vector databases, model serving APIs, and LLM cost managementCI/CD pipeline expertise — GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, or Jenkins; has built pipelines forpolyglot environments (multiple programming languages and frameworks)Security fundamentals — experience implementing secrets management, network securitygroups, and cloud IAM integrationStrong scripting skills — Python and Bash for automation; PowerShell for Windows/AzureenvironmentsBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent practical experiencePreferred Experience with gaming software build pipelines including certification requirementsFamiliarity with Unity game engine build and deployment processesExperience with remote device management for distributed hardware fleetsNote: All offers are contingent upon successful completion of a background check *Posted positions are not open to third party recruiters and unsolicited resume submissions will be considered free referrals.
