Insurance Remittance Posting Specialist

Job 156895 - Remittance Posting Analyst Miami, FL The Remittance Posting Analyst role will manage the processing of all complex or discretionary remitted insurance and patient payments into the CareCloud Remittance application. The ideal candidate will utilize payment posting expertise to post NON-standard transactions, validate offshore posted transactions and provide quality control monitoring across the accounts served by CareCloud. Primary Objective: Monitor and reconcile batches marked for validation and process transactions marked for quality review. Support the timely processing of partial post batches, special posting projects and other NON-standard posting workflows. General Areas of Responsibility:

• Ensure the timely turnaround of saved batches from internal and external posting sources.
• Obtain missing information from partially posted batches as needed.
• Review and resolve all transactions reported as errors.
• Manage error data collection and aggregation for performance feedback.
• Check for accuracy in reported batches by the payment posting staff on the Remittance Request Form.
• Assist as needed to meet TAT for manual and ERA posting.
• Delete, modify or post batches with previous authorization.

Requirements Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

• Deep knowledge of insurance carriers’ payment regulations including various reimbursement schemes, coinsurance and deductibles, and contractual adjustments
• Experience and understanding of current transaction posting applications.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Basic proficiencies in Microsoft Excel and Word
• Must be able to perform in a high volume and fast-paced environment
• Ability to draw conclusions from data and propose recommendations for management consideration
• Must be detail focused
• Self-motivated and innovative

Qualifications:

• Minimum of one year of experience in remittance payment posting
• Strong knowledge of E/M, ICD-9/ICD-10, CPT’s, and HCPS codes
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite including Excel and Word, Google tools
