Job Title: Entry-Level Welder / Frame Fabricator

Responsibilities

• Use common hand, power, and air tools safely and effectively during daily production tasks.
• Read and interpret shop drawings, blueprints, and other production-related diagrams to build frames to specification.
• Use a standard tape measure accurately and read numbers and fractions to ensure precise measurements.
• Perform basic addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division of whole numbers and fractions to support accurate layout and fabrication.
• Gauge steel to verify that the correct materials are used in the construction of each frame.
• Measure and cut steel components for frames and hitch assemblies according to approved prints.
• Weld steel components using MIG and/or ARC welders to build complete frames.
• Manually place outriggers against frames and weld outriggers, crossmembers, and braces to the frame structure.
• Install axles, tires, wiring, brakes, and paint frames as part of the final assembly process.
• Rework frames, tires, or axles in the yard or in the field as needed to correct issues or complete repairs.

Work Environment
This role follows a day shift schedule, typically from 5:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., Monday through Friday. During the warmer summer months, start times may shift earlier to around 3:00 a.m. with work ending around 11:30 a.m. or slightly later to avoid the peak heat. Due to current workload, weekly hours may range from approximately 50 to 60 hours.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $22.00/hr.
