Position: Full Time Entry‑Level Automotive Composite Technician (471) Job Id: 471 Location: Livonia, MI # of Openings: 5 Performance Driven Workforce (PDW) is now hiring Full‑time Entry‑Level Automotive Composite Technicians to work with a leading Tier 1 automotive supplier. This is an entry level role that will work with carbon fiber, fiberglass, Kevlar, and high‑modulus composite materials to mold high‑performance parts. The Full‑time Entry‑Level Automotive Composite Technicians will fabricate composite parts using vacuum bagging, prepreg, and/or vacuum infusion processes with precision and craftsmanship. This position offers an AM day shift plus overtime as needed and is based in Livonia, MI. Candidates meeting the requirements below are strongly encouraged to apply. Shift AM Day Shift : 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM (Monday – Friday, plus overtime when needed) Responsibilities Lay‑up into molds using pre‑impregnated material or apply liquid resin to materials and lay‑up into molds Follow written and verbal instructions for materials and orientations during the lamination process Prepare vacuum bags following general bagging and debagging procedures and ensure vacuum integrity Prepare molds for lay‑up and maintain mold surface quality Requirements Must be 18 years of age or older High school diploma or equivalent Ability to follow written and verbal instructions to ensure part conformity and continuous improvement Mechanical skills, upper body strength, and dexterity Ability to work as part of a team to ensure quality standards are met Strong work ethic and attention to detail Must have reliable attendance and the willingness to work overtime/weekends Preferred Qualifications (not required) Prior experience in a role dependent on craftsmanship and meeting quality standards No certification required Veteran friendly employer Benefits Overtime when available PDW offers medical, dental, vision, life insurance and 401k after 60 days of employment Performance Driven Workforce is an Equal Opportunity Employer. #J-18808-Ljbffr Performance Driven Workforce
