Location: Austin, TX
Overview: We are seeking a skilled Data Scientist to join our team for a project ASAP. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in data science and engineering, with experience in various relevant technologies and methodologies.
Must Have: Experience in feature engineering and data curation from large existing unstructured data for insights and training.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain data pipelines and workflows.
- Implement and optimize machine learning models using scikit-learn.
- Apply design thinking principles to solve complex data problems.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure data integrity and quality.
- Utilize deep learning techniques to enhance data processing capabilities.
- Support the project through various stages including reviews, testing, production cutover, and warranty support.
Skills:
- Proficiency in scikit-learn
- Strong understanding of design thinking
- Experience in data engineering and data science
- Experience with deep learning
- Proficiency in Python
- Java
- Experience with PySpark (Nice to Have)
