Job Description
EDM Programmer Operator develops programs and operates wire, sinker, and hole drilling EDM equipment while preparing CNC setups, interpreting blueprints, and inspecting finished components for quality.
Responsibilities
- Program and operate wire EDM, sinker EDM, and hole drilling EDM equipment.
- Set up CNC machinery for EDM operations.
- Prepare electrodes for sinker EDM work.
- Interpret blueprints to guide machining activities.
- Perform quality inspections on completed components.
Required Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in EDM programming and operation.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with EDM programming.
- Experience with CNC machining.
- Proficiency in blueprint reading.
- Knowledge of GD&T.
