An excellent full-time employment opportunity exists for a Board Certified Family Medicine or Internal Medicine physician with Fellowship training or Certificate of Added Qualifications in Geriatric Medicine to become Medical Director of a PACE program. The Medical Director will provide general medical direction and supervision of the medical aspects of participant care. The role includes responsibility for the delivery of participant care, clinical outcomes, and oversight of the Quality Assurance Performance Improvement program. The Medical Director will also be responsible for the development and maintenance of medical policies, procedures, standards, and protocols. In this position, direction and supervision will be provided to related Primary Care Providers and Advanced Practice Providers. Leadership and guidance will be given to program colleagues and providers in the local community. A valid driver's license, proof of insurance, and means of transportation are required. Proficiency in Microsoft Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.) as well as basic knowledge of email, calendaring systems, and other required software is necessary. The ideal candidate should possess excellent organizational, customer service, flexibility, and problem-solving skills. Willingness to travel within the region periodically as needed is essential.
