Shift: 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM

Experience:

• 24 months of experience with 3 months worked in the last 12 months.

• 24 months of Telemetry Unit experience with 12 months worked in the last 3 years.

• 3 months of Cerner experience is preferred.

• Trauma Level 1 experience is required within the last 3 years.

• BSN completion preferred.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have a Arizona license or compact license (required for submission).

• This role may require floating to additional units and locations

• Travel only, local not allowed. Candidates must live >50 miles from facility to be submitted.

• COVID vaccination required after submission. Religious and medical declinations accepted.

• COVID booster required after submission. Religious, medical, and personal declinations accepted.

Required Credentials: - You are required to pass a Basic Dysrhythmia/EKG exam during onboarding; 2 attempts allowed. - Pass/fail SIMs Lab on day 1 of orientation for Foley catheter insertion and central line dressing changes.

Preferred Credentials: - Med-Surg/Telemetry certification preferred.

Special Requests: - Any employment gaps greater than 30 days must be explained. - Cannot have worked at any CommonSpirit location within the last 12 months. - Cannot apply to more than one job order on the same unit and shift at the facility.

Unit Details: - Neuro acute epilepsy monitoring unit. - Mainly Med-Surg with some telemetry required. - Common diagnoses/patient population: epilepsy, 24-48 Trend EEGs, brain tumors, subdural hematoma, scoliosis surgeries, TBI, neuro diagnoses. - BiPAP patients; RT manages vents.

Shift & Scheduling: - 4 total weekend shifts per 4 weeks. Self-scheduling. Holidays based on unit coverage.

Floating Requirements: - First to float to MS/Tele; may also float to Westgate or AZ General Laveen Campus.

Facility holidays: 11/26/2026, 12/25/2026, 01/01/2027. Number of holidays allowed off: 1. Start assignment restriction: 14 days
