Job Details Position: Travel Emergency Room Registered Nurse (ER RN) Location: Longview, TX 75601 Employment Type: Travel Nursing Start Date: 08/17/2026 Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 12-hour nights Schedule: 3 shifts per week Hours per Week: 36 Weekend Requirement: Yes Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,680 - $1,770 Job Requirements Active RN license in Texas or a compact state At least 1 year of Emergency Department RN experience or related acute care nursing experience Current AHA BLS certification required Current AHA ACLS certification required Current AHA PALS certification required Current TNCC certification required Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred Strong critical thinking, communication, and teamwork skills Experience in emergency care, trauma nursing, or clinical support in a fast-paced hospital environment preferred Responsibilities Provide routine and complex nursing care to Emergency Department patients Perform comprehensive assessments, develop nursing care plans, and evaluate patient outcomes Administer medications and treatments according to established hospital protocols Monitor patients for treatment response, side effects, and changes in condition Document patient history, symptoms, interventions, and care provided in the medical record Educate patients, families, and caregivers on care plans, discharge instructions, and follow-up needs Address the psychological, emotional, cultural, and social needs of patients and families Collaborate with physicians, nursing staff, and the interdisciplinary care team to promote safe patient flow Follow Emergency Department competencies, standards, and organizational guidelines Why Apply for This Travel RN Opportunity?
