Job Summary Under limited supervision of a Supervisor or Director of Food and Nutrition, the Cook II will provide courteous, friendly food service while preparing the required portions of food items for both patients and non-patients using Hazard Analysis Critical Control Points (HACCP) principles during all phases of food handling. The essential job focus includes preparing hot and cold food items, employing a variety of cooking equipment, and following scratch recipes and department specifications. Responsibilities Prepare hot and cold food items for patients and non‑patients. Follow HACCP principles during all phases of food handling. Use a variety of cooking equipment. Adhere to scratch recipes and department specifications. Qualifications National Food Handler Card – State, County, or City Authority upon hire. Minimum 2 years of quantity food preparation experience. Preferred Qualifications Specific vocational training or coursework. Pay Range: $20.19 – $30.26 (based on experience).
