Payroll Specialist

We are currently seeking an experienced Payroll Specialist to join its team on a contract-to-hire basis. Key Responsibilities

• Process high-volume payroll for both hourly and salaried employees across multiple payroll groups
• Review and balance payroll prior to processing to ensure accuracy and compliance
• Process payroll adjustments, manual checks, corrections, and other payroll transactions
• Perform detailed payroll reconciliations and identify discrepancies
• Maintain payroll records, reports, spreadsheets, and supporting documentation
• Research and resolve employee payroll questions and pay discrepancies
• Assist with payroll reporting and other HR-related reporting needs
• Partner with HR and internal departments to troubleshoot payroll-related issues
• Ensure payroll deadlines are consistently met while maintaining a high level of accuracy
• Assist with additional payroll projects and responsibilities as needed

Qualifications

• 2+ years of recent payroll processing experience
• Hands-on experience working with ADP or a comparable payroll system
• Previous experience processing high-volume payroll strongly preferred
• Strong xhyhwjd reconciliation and analytical skills
• Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to research and resolve payroll discrepancies
• Strong customer service skills and ability to communicate effectively with employees at all levels
• Bachelor's degree preferred but not required
