Customer Service Representative – Escape the Crate Boise Join our team as a Customer Service Representative at Destination Pet’s Escape the Crate Boise location. Benefits and Compensation Telehealth coverage 401(k) retirement plan Pet insurance Hourly pay range: $15.00–$15.50, depends on experience (DOE) Tips Reporting Reports to: General Manager Job Requirements Must be on feet often – standing, walking, climbing stairs. Must be able to lift up to 40 lbs (bags of food, pet crates, etc.). Availability required on evenings, weekends, and holidays. Comfortable with exposure to cleaning supplies, pet hair, and incidents. High school diploma or equivalent required. 1+ year of customer service or retail experience preferred. Must be available Friday and Saturday. Responsibilities Welcome pet parents and their animals with a friendly, concierge-level service. Answer phones with a friendly tone and multi‑task efficiently. Guide new clients through the facility and promote services. Verify vaccination records to ensure safety. Manage check‑ins and check‑outs efficiently while providing a personal touch. Handle cash, cards, and balance the end‑of‑day cash drawer accurately. Respond to complaints with patience and professionalism. Escort pet guests to and from enclosures with care. Maintain a clean, welcoming lobby for first impressions. Support team members as needed. Perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications Strong communication skills – phone, in‑person, email. Experience with multi‑line phone systems and computer systems. Calm under pressure and professional demeanor. Problem‑solving skills. Dog or pet lover.
