As a full-time professional in our remote work environment, you will engage directly with clients experiencing mood disorders, including depression, anxiety, and bipolar disorders. This position is primarily remote, emphasizing the flexibility and work-life balance our team values. You will be part of a collaborative virtual team that operates during standard business hours, Monday to Friday, from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM. Utilizing advanced telehealth technology, you will conduct therapy sessions in a way that ensures comfort and accessibility for our clients.

• Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate the severity and duration of mood disorder symptoms, using standardized diagnostic tools and interviews.

• Collaborate with clients to co-create tailored treatment plans that align with their personal goals, incorporating their preferences and individual circumstances.

• Implement evidence-based therapeutic modalities, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), to facilitate positive change.

• Educate clients and their families on mood disorders, treatment options, and effective self-care strategies, fostering a supportive community around each client.

• Monitor client progress meticulously, documenting changes in symptomatology, and adjusting treatment strategies based on feedback and clinical judgment.

• Work closely with psychiatrists and medical professionals, ensuring integrated treatment approaches that include medication management as necessary.

• Engage in continuous professional development, keeping abreast of the latest research and best practices in mood disorder treatment.

• Maintain thorough and confidential records of sessions and treatment plans in compliance with HIPAA and ethical standards.

• Participate actively in case consultations and team meetings to contribute insights and enhance service delivery.

• Advocate for clients while raising awareness about mood disorders to reduce stigma within the community.

Your work will primarily focus on individuals experiencing various mood disorders. These may include, but are not limited to, major depressive disorder, generalized anxiety disorder, and bipolar disorder. You will build therapeutic relationships with clients from diverse backgrounds, helping them navigate their unique challenges and fostering resilience.

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LPC, PsyD, or LMFT in the state of Texas.

• Demonstrated expertise in evidence-based treatment approaches for mood disorders, particularly CBT and DBT.

• A solid understanding of psychopharmacology, enabling effective collaboration with psychiatrists and healthcare providers.

• A proven history of successful client outcomes in treating mood disorders.
\n
• Exceptional communication skills, allowing you to establish rapport and trust with clients from diverse backgrounds.

• Experience working in a telehealth setting, demonstrating comfort with virtual therapy tools and platforms.

• Familiarity with the Texas mental health landscape, community resources, and referral networks.
