Your work week will typically span Monday through Friday from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM, with some flexibility to meet the varied needs of our patients. Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough and culturally informed mental health assessments to identify patients’ unique challenges and develop tailored treatment plans.

• Deliver evidence-based therapeutic interventions that resonate with individual patient backgrounds, incorporating therapeutic modalities such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) or mindfulness practices.

• Facilitate individual, family, and group therapy sessions, utilizing techniques that promote resilience and emotional growth.

• Engage in close collaboration with psychiatrists, psychologists, and other healthcare professionals to provide holistic care.

• Address mental health crises with timely and effective interventions to ensure patient safety and stability.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Our practice emphasizes working with clients from diverse cultural backgrounds including racial and ethnic minorities, LGBTQ+ individuals, and immigrant populations. You will be instrumental in implementing therapy that appreciates and honors the complexities of their lived experiences, ensuring that care is both responsive and impactful.

Qualifications\n

• Master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Active and valid licensure as either a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), or Psychologist in the state of Texas.

• Profound knowledge of mental health disorders and the application of culturally competent treatment approaches.

• Experience providing individual and group therapy using inclusive methodologies tailored to meet diverse client needs.

• Exceptional crisis intervention skills and the ability to manage challenging scenarios with professionalism and empathy.
