The Customer Service Representative is responsible for supporting customers from order placement through delivery. This role serves as a key point of contact for customer inquiries, order entry, order status, and freight-related questions, while coordinating closely with internal teams to ensure accurate and timely fulfillment. The position is hands-on and detail-oriented, ideal for someone who enjoys managing the flow of work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities

· Enter customer purchase orders accurately into the company’s order management system

· Serve as the primary contact for customer inquiries related to orders, pricing, lead times, and product availability

· Manage the order processing workflow from order receipt through shipment and invoicing

· Coordinate with production, shipping, and sales teams to resolve order issues and meet delivery commitments

· Handle service-related requests including order changes, backorders, returns, and credits

· Provide freight support, including quoting freight, tracking shipments, responding to delivery issues, and assisting with freight claims

· Maintain accurate customer and order records in company systems

· Support continuous improvement by identifying process inefficiencies and customer concerns

Required Skills & Qualifications

· 2+ years of customer service or order entry experience, preferably in a manufacturing or distribution setting

· Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and accuracy

· Excellent written and verbal communication skills

· Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines

· Professional, service‐oriented attitude with strong problem‐solving skills

Technical Skills

· Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word, Teams)

· Experience using order management systems

· Comfortable working in a deadline‐driven, transactional environment

Work Environment

· Office-based role within a small manufacturing company`

· Regular interaction with customers, production, and logistics teams
