1st shift Brake Press and Laser Operator

A fabrication company in Columbia City is looking for experienced Brake Press and Laser Operators for both 1st and 2nd shift!

1st shift Brake Press and Laser Operator Details:

Temp-to-Hire position
$21.00 to $24.00 / hour
Full Time work available
First Shift ( Monday through Thursday from 05:30am to 04:00pm )

Set up and operate brake press or laser cutting equipment
Load and unload materials into machines
Read and follow blueprints, work orders, and specifications
Use measuring tools to verify part dimensions
Perform machine adjustments and changeovers as needed
Inspect finished parts for accuracy and quality
Troubleshoot basic machine and production issues
Handle and stage metal materials throughout production

1st shift Brake Press and Laser Operator Qualifications:

Previous Brake Press or Laser Operator experience required
Manufacturing/fabrication experience preferred
Ability to read blueprints and measurements
Experience using calipers, tape measures, or other measuring tools
Mechanically inclined and comfortable making machine adjustments
Dependable with a good work history and attendance
Must be available for Friday overtime when required
