Pro Services, Inc. has teamed up with a global manufacturing leader with 130+ years of proven success to add an experienced reliability-focused maintenance professional to its Grand Rapids, MI operation. This is a direct-hire role on a close-knit team that invests in mentorship, training, and long-term growth.

Your shift starts at 6:00 PM. You review open work orders in the CMMS, prioritize preventive maintenance to minimize unplanned downtime, and line up tools for the night’s assignments. A production line flags a temperature variance—within minutes, you’re at the equipment, tracing signals through electrical schematics and verifying readings across 120/208/240/480V systems. A chiller needs attention, a pump seal is replaced, and a LOTO procedure ensures everyone’s safe while you work. By 6:30 AM, you’ve documented repairs, updated asset histories, and shared improvement ideas with the morning crew.

• 3rd shift: 6:00 PM – 6:30 AM
• 2-2-3 rotating cadence with built-in overtime potential
• Training on 1st shift for approximately 4–6 months

• Direct hire with a well-established, financially stable manufacturer
• Supportive leadership and a collaborative maintenance culture
• Hands-on training, mentorship, and clear avenues for advancement
• Wide exposure to production equipment, utilities, and facility systems

• Perform both mechanical and electrical maintenance to ensure uptime
• Troubleshoot and repair pumps, HVAC, boilers, chillers, and production machinery
• Execute PMs and track work through a CMMS to reduce downtime
• Assist with installation and commissioning of new equipment
• Maintain accurate records, documentation, and work order histories
• Follow safety protocols rigorously, including lockout/tagout procedures
• Partner with peers and leadership to problem-solve and improve processes
• Operate forklifts and lifts when needed

• 5+ years in industrial maintenance with strong mechanical aptitude
• 3+ years of electrical experience
• Background with pumps and industrial systems
• Comfort working within CMMS and PM programs
• Team-first mindset, strong work ethic, and eagerness to learn

• Experience in pipefitting, machining, or metal fabrication
• Knowledge of boilers, chillers, compressors, and process controls
• Ability to read and troubleshoot electrical schematics and pneumatic systems
• Refrigeration certification

• Lift up to 50 lbs. independently (100+ lbs. with assistance)
• Comfortable with heights, ladders, and working around industrial equipment
• Frequent standing, walking, bending, and climbing
• Industrial setting with appropriate PPE and safety standards
