How Will You Make a Difference?

• Lead, coach, and develop the billing team by managing staffing, performance, training, and professional development while fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and exceptional client service.
• Oversee all billing operations to ensure the timely, accurate, and compliant preparation, review, submission, and tracking of client invoices, including eBilling and alternative fee arrangements.
• Partner with attorneys, practice group leaders, and Finance teams to resolve complex billing matters, support client service objectives, and drive revenue cycle performance through effective management of aged WIP and realization.
• Analyze billing metrics and operational performance to identify risks and opportunities, implement process improvements, lead system and workflow enhancements, and promote the effective use of technology and reporting tools

What Will You Bring to the Table?

• Bachelor's degree in business administration, accounting, finance, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of technical training and experience.
• Minimum of 5 years' of management experience with a demonstrated ability to lead, motivate, and develop employees.
• Minimum of 10 years' of progressive billing experience in a legal or professional services environment.
• Proven leadership experience with the ability to lead, develop, coach, and manage high-performing teams while driving accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
• Previous professional services billing expertise, including knowledge of billing operations, client billing guidelines, alternative fee arrangements, eBilling requirements, and revenue cycle management.
• Strong analytical and strategic problem-solving skills, with the ability to evaluate billing performance, aged WIP, and operational data, identify opportunities, and implement solutions that improve results.
• Advanced technical, project management, and communication skills, including proficiency with billing systems and reporting tools, the ability to manage multiple priorities, and a commitment to exceptional client service and operational excellence.

• The estimated starting pay range is $103,000-$129,000 per year. Final compensation will be based on a variety of factors, including education, experience, skills, professional background, and overall qualifications. The salary range for this position is consistent across all geographic markets.
