Description

• Lead and develop the manufacturing engineering team, providing coaching, mentorship, and technical guidance.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on productivity, quality, cost reduction, and operational efficiency.
• Develop, implement, and optimize manufacturing processes to support business objectives and customer requirements.
• Partner with Operations, Quality, Supply Chain, Environmental Health & Safety, and Human Resources teams to align manufacturing goals and priorities.
• Support new product introduction activities and lead the successful transition from prototype to full-scale production.
• Serve as the primary technical resource for manufacturing engineering challenges and complex production issues.
• Oversee process documentation, manufacturing standards, and compliance with quality and regulatory requirements.
• Champion Lean, Six Sigma, automation, and advanced manufacturing methodologies to improve performance.
• Evaluate production metrics and operational data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for improvement.
• Develop and execute strategic engineering plans that enhance manufacturing capabilities and support business growth.
• Foster a culture centered on safety, innovation, accountability, and teamwork.

Profile

• 10+ years of engineering leadership experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Hands-on expertise supporting CNC machining, fabrication, assembly, precision manufacturing, or related processes.
• Proven experience leading engineering teams and developing technical talent.
• Demonstrated success driving process improvements, operational excellence, and manufacturing optimization initiatives.
• Strong project management skills with the ability to oversee complex projects from concept through implementation.
• Experience implementing Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or other continuous improvement methodologies.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence at all organizational levels.
• Strong business acumen with the ability to prioritize initiatives, manage risk, and drive results.
• Experience with manufacturing and engineering software platforms such as SolidWorks, ERP systems, and Microsoft tools.
• A proactive leadership style and commitment to safety, innovation, and continuous improvement.
