This role involves providing specialized care to adult and geriatric patients with cardiovascular conditions, including post-surgical and acute diagnoses, in a fast-paced hospital environment. The position requires a focus on critical thinking and advanced patient management skills.

Job Details

• Position: Registered Nurse (RN)
• Specialty: Intensive Care Unit Cardiovascular
• Location: Region surrounding the healthcare organization
• Schedule: Night shifts, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: Associate Nursing Degree, ACLS, BLS, minimum 1.5 years of CVICU experience
• Preferred Qualifications: CVICU experience, CCRN certification preferred
• Unit Information:
  • Number of Beds: 8
  • Patient Ratios: 2:1 with occasional 1:1
  • Equipment: Impella, IABP, CRRT
  • Electronic Health Record: Cerner
• Additional Notes:
  • Must have strong critical thinking skills
  • Experience in treating CABG, TAVR, STEMI, Carotids is preferred
  • Float: Float rotation may be required
• Submission Requirements: Candidates must meet the above qualifications and be available to start on or after 09/28/2026, with an end date of 12/28/2026.
