We're committed to integrity, excellence, and developing our team.Starting Pay: $14–$16 per hour, depending on your experience and skill set.Benefits:Bi-Weekly Competitive PaySundays Off – Enjoy Work-Life BalancePaid Vacation & Sick Time6 Paid HolidaysMedical, Dental & Vision InsuranceCompany-Paid Life Insurance401(k) Retirement Plan with Company MatchEmployee DiscountsTuition ReimbursementCareer Growth Opportunities – Many of our leaders started here!What You'll Do:As a General Service Technician, you'll help keep our customers safe on the road by performing:Tire mounting, dismounting, balancing & rotationOil changes and other light vehicle maintenanceMulti-point inspections & documenting vehicle conditionsKeeping the shop clean, organized, and safeRequires driving vehicles in a safe and courteous manner obeying all traffic lawsPick up Parts and suppliesTransport customers as neededFollows all safety procedures and reports any concerns to direct supervisorSupporting team members with other assigned tasksAdheres to Sun Auto's core values, and all company policies and procedures as outlined in the Sun Auto Tire & Service Employee HandbookQualifications:A strong work ethic and willingness to learn Some knowledge of basic automotive systems (preferred) Valid driver's license and clean driving record Must be at least 18 years old High school diploma or equivalent (preferred) Flexibility to work Saturdays (with Sundays off!)Working Conditions and Physical Demands:The General Service Technician will be exposed to moderate to loud noises, dust, exhaust fumes, lubricants, petroleum products, vapors, caustic materials, and other hazardous and non-hazardous materials. The temperature in the work environment varies and could include extreme heat and/or extreme cold depending on the ambient temperatures outside. The use of safety goggles or other PPE may be required when working in these conditions.The General Service Technician must be able to meet the following physical requirements:Stand up to eight hours per day in the shop and able to walk to gain access to various areas of the buildingBend, stoop, kneel and crouch regularly throughout the day; must have full range of motion with arms and hands and be able to feel, handle or finger objects frequentlyLift and/or move up to 10 pounds regularly, lift and/or move up to 70 pounds frequently.Communicate with customers and shop personnelVision sufficient to detect color, depth, and re-focusWe are committed to providing reasonable accommodations to employees with disabilities upon request.Previous automotive experience preferred, but we will consider energetic and hard-working individuals with a passion for cars.
