Swansons Auto Repair Inc is looking for a skilled Auto Mechanic to join our team in North Port, FL! Responsibilities:

Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical issues on a variety of vehicle makes and models

Perform routine maintenance services including oil changes, tire rotations, and fluid checks

Conduct brake inspections, repairs, and replacements

Inspect and service suspension, steering, and drivetrain components

Use diagnostic scan tools and equipment to identify vehicle faults

Communicate repair findings and recommendations clearly to service advisors

Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work bay

Requirements:

Proven experience as an automotive technician or mechanic

Proficiency in vehicle diagnostics and use of shop equipment

Knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and computer systems in modern vehicles

ASE certification(s) preferred but not required

Valid driver's license with a clean driving record

Own a basic set of professional hand tools

Strong attention to detail with a commitment to quality workmanship

Reliable, team-oriented, and able to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
