Communications DirectorThe City of Beavercreek is seeking a full-time Communications Director, reporting directly to the City Manager. This role is responsible for the hands-on development and management of all community communication channels. The Director will oversee traditional and digital communications, marketing, public affairs, media relations, and multi-media productions, while managing overall City branding, executing publications to advance a positive image of the City.To qualify for this position, applicants must possess a minimum of a Bachelor's degree in journalism, communications, English, public relations, public administration, or a related field, though a Master's degree is preferred. This educational background must be supplemented by at least three (3) years of experience in public administration, business management, journalism, mass media communications, or public relations, or an equivalent combination of training and experience.For a more comprehensive description of job functions and training required, please see: Communications Director Job Description.
