Benefits: Company car Competitive salary Free uniforms Field Service Electrician (Residential & Light Commercial) Sarasota Electrical – Sarasota, FL Job Summary & Responsibilities As a Field Service Electrician, you are the face of Sarasota Electrical. You will operate with a high degree of independence, driving to various residential and light commercial properties in and around Sarasota to diagnose, quote, and repair electrical issues. Troubleshoot & diagnose complex electrical failures, shorts, and performance issues. Efficiently execute smaller installations and upgrades, including panel changeouts, EV chargers, lighting retrofits, and circuit additions. Clearly explain issues and solutions to homeowners and business managers with a friendly, professional attitude. Maintain the company service van: keep it clean, organized, and properly stocked. Use dispatch/service software to accurately document job details, photos, and process customer payments on-site. Qualifications & Requirements Proven experience as a Residential/Light Commercial Service Electrician, with thorough knowledge of electrical codes and advanced troubleshooting. Highly autonomous, able to work independently without supervision. Excellent communication skills, neat professional appearance, and customer‑first personality. Valid Driver’s License with a clean driving record (required to operate company vehicle). Physical ability to navigate attics, crawl spaces, climb ladders, and lift up to 50 lbs comfortably.
