About the Position

Job Title: RRT - NICU Profession: Respiratory / Neuro Diagnostics Specialty: RRT-NICU Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience in Pediatric, Neonate, and Infant care License: RRT SC license must be in hand at the time of start Certifications: RRT certification, BLS, PALS, NRP Must-Have: - Pediatric experience - Neonate experience - Infant experience Description: This position is for an RRT working in a Level 4 NICU with a focus on Pediatrics and Cardiac patients. The shift schedule consists of three 12-hour days, from 7 AM to 7:30 PM. There will be holiday rotations, and coverage is required every other weekend. On-call duties may vary depending on experience. Certified clinicians are encouraged to apply, and first-timers are accepted. Experience with Epic charting is preferred. The facility may allow for some accommodation of a block schedule, but this requires prior approval. There is a radius rule of 60 miles for local candidates. All requests for time off must be included at the time of submission, as post-submission requests may not be accepted. Candidates must possess all required certifications and license to be considered for this role. Applicants should be aware that during hurricane season, all employees may be assigned to emergency response teams. It is important to ensure that all necessary documentation is completed promptly to meet compliance requirements. Candidates must be aware of the need for lab completion prior to the designated start date. The facility prioritizes candidates with the required license in hand. Preference will be given to non-local candidates.
