A bit about us: A well established aerospace manufacturing company is seeking a hands on 2nd Shift Manufacturing Supervisor to lead production operations within a precision machining environment. This is a leadership focused role overseeing machinists, operators, setup technicians, and production personnel in a clean, climate controlled facility supporting high precision aerospace manufacturing. Shift: Monday through Friday, 3:30 PM – 12:00 AM Employment Type: Full Time, Salaried/Exempt Industry: Aerospace Manufacturing Environment: Precision machining, AS9100/NADCAP facility Benefits: Medical, dental, vision, 401(k) match, PTO, holidays, disability coverage, HSA/FSA programs, and more Job Details Responsibilities Lead and supervise 2nd shift manufacturing operations Support production scheduling, quality, throughput, and delivery goals Coach and mentor machinists, setup technicians, and operators Troubleshoot production issues and improve manufacturing processes Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and operational standards Monitor ERP production tracking and shop floor documentation Drive employee accountability, communication, and performance Partner with leadership to improve efficiency and retention Support new product introduction and process improvement initiatives Qualifications 7+ years of machining/manufacturing experience Leadership experience within a CNC machining environment Aerospace manufacturing experience highly preferred Experience leading teams in a fast paced production environment Ability to troubleshoot manufacturing and personnel issues Familiarity with ERP systems and production reporting Strong communication and leadership skills Preferred Backgrounds CNC Machining Aerospace Manufacturing Conventional Machining Production Supervision Manufacturing Leadership Precision Machining Operations Jobot is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
