We are currently searching for a full-time Master Social Worker or Licensed Social Worker to join our team in Medina, Ohio! In this role, you will manage all aspects of the provision of patient social services and oversee the members of the social work team.

Schedule

• Monday through Friday
• 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM
• Occasional evening or weekend events as needed

Job Duties

• Recruit, select, orient, and directly manage members of the social service team
• Supervise the assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of social service clinical care by the social work team
• Ensure proper documentation of social services in clinical records following state, federal, and CHAP standards
• Maintain comprehensive knowledge of social work and share information with appropriate organization personnel

Qualifications

• A master’s degree in social work (MSW), or a bachelor’s degree (LSW)
• At least one year of management experience, preferably in healthcare; hospice experience preferred
• Ability to supervise and direct professional and administrative personnel
• Knowledge of corporate business management, governmental regulations, and CHAP standards
• Good verbal and written communication skills
