Highlights:

• Provide specialized nursing care to patients receiving intravenous and injectable therapies including chemotherapy, immunotherapy, and biologic agents
• Manage vascular access devices including ports, PICC lines, and central lines
• Monitor patients throughout treatment, assess for adverse reactions, and provide emergency intervention when needed
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary team including providers, pharmacists, and healthcare professionals
• Comprehensive patient and family education on treatment plans, side effects, and self-care management
• Electronic medical record documentation with focus on compliance and regulatory standards

Requirements:

• Active Wisconsin Registered Nurse (RN) license or Compact Licensure (Wisconsin license must be obtained within 90 days of start date)
• Associate or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN preferred)
• BLS certification required or obtained within 1 month of hire
• ACLS required or obtained within 1 year of hire
• Current ONS Chemotherapy Immunotherapy Provider Card or obtained within 6 months of hire
• Strong IV therapy and vascular access management skills
• Knowledge of chemotherapy safety and hazardous drug handling protocols
• Excellent critical thinking, communication, and problem-solving abilities
