The Labor and Delivery unit cares for patients with a variety of needs, ensuring a high standard of care. Patient ratios are maintained at 1:1 or 1:2 for optimal focus and attention. Staffing includes a day shift charge nurse, PCT, CST, and RN for optimal teamwork and support. The unit is equiped with advanced technology and electronic fetal monitoring systems. The typical procedures performed include vaginal deliveries, cesarean sections, D&C, cerclage, and C-hyst. Ideal candidates will possess an outgoing, friendly, and adaptable personality. This position does not require weekend shifts or on-call duties, further supporting work-life balance.
