Compensation Details 19.00 per hour Benefits Weekly Pay Paid Time Off Programs (vacation, paid sick time, holiday pay) Up to 24 hours of prorated vacation in the first year Up to 48 hours of paid sick time or as required by state law Up to 9 holidays per year Comprehensive health coverage (medical, dental, vision, short‑term and long‑term disability) Life insurance benefits for employee and dependents Generous 401(k) retirement savings plan with a fully vested matching contribution in the first year, quarterly contributions, and an annual discretionary contribution upon eligibility Dock to Driver Program – company pays for CDL license and training for transition to driver position Tuition reimbursement program Merchandise discounts on top brands Employee Assistance Program (EAP) providing access to therapists, attorneys, financial guidance, childcare, and event tickets Adoption cost reimbursement Benefits provided in compliance with applicable plans and policies Job Title Customer Service Representative What You’ll Do Receive telephone inquiries from retailers regarding order status, adjustments, stock availability, and more Retrieve retailer information and stock status, and provide purchase order status Make changes to purchase orders as required Follow up on inquiries by checking computer programs for delivery information Work closely with shipping and traffic departments regarding delivery status Check with credit department concerning credit status of retailers upon receipt of rush orders Maintain files of active orders and post activity such as change notices, scheduling changes, partial shipments, and credit adjustments Prepare paperwork for the accounting department for credits and debits Review Returned Goods Forms for correct reason codes to determine correct inventory adjustments and ensure credits are issued Promote a safe, healthy, and injury‑free environment for all team members What You Need to Succeed Minimum high school diploma required; some college education preferred Minimum of 2 years customer service experience Excellent phone skills with a professional presence Superb problem‑solving skills and ability to handle anxious customers, resolving issues quickly Excellent computer skills; preferred experience with SAP, AS400, Microsoft Word, and Excel Ability to work in a warehouse environment when researching discrepancies Commitment to safety – promote a safe workplace through proper PPE use, safe operation of equipment, and safe lifting techniques Active participation in contributing to a successful safety culture in the facility Equal Opportunity Employer Ace Hardware Corporation hereby declares its commitment to a policy of promoting equal employment opportunities.
