Team Lead

Position Overview

Opportunities, Inc. is seeking a motivated and hands-on Line (Team) Lead to support daily production operations. This role is responsible for leading a production team, ensuring workflows run efficiently, maintaining quality standards, and promoting a safe and productive work environment.

This position plays a critical role in meeting production goals by coordinating team activities, addressing issues in real time, and ensuring all processes are completed accurately and on schedule.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and support a team of production employees by providing clear direction, assigning tasks, and ensuring accountability
• Monitor daily production activities to ensure workflows are efficient and operating according to schedule
• Identify and resolve production issues to minimize downtime and maintain productivity
• Ensure all products meet quality standards by inspecting work and addressing any defects or concerns
• Maintain a safe work environment by enforcing company policies, procedures, and safety standards
• Track production progress and communicate updates on performance, output, and any delays
• Train and onboard new employees on job duties, processes, and safety expectations
• Ensure production lines are properly stocked with materials and supplies to avoid interruptions
• Complete required documentation, including production records, quality checks, and issue tracking
• Collaborate with internal teams such as maintenance, quality, and leadership to support smooth operations

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in a production, manufacturing, or assembly environment required
• Previous leadership or lead experience preferred
• Strong understanding of production processes, workflow coordination, and team operations
• Ability to lead by example and support a team in a fast-paced environment
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to make decisions in real time
• Effective communication and organizational skills

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods of time
• Ability to lift up to 25lbs. and move materials as needed
• Frequent bending, reaching, and repetitive movements

Working Conditions

• Fast-paced production environment
• Exposure to machinery, moving equipment, and production noise
• May require overtime or flexible scheduling based on production needs
