Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough patient evaluations, requisition essential diagnostic tests, and develop personalized care plans
• Diagnose and address acute, episodic, or chronic health issues in collaboration with physicians or independently (contingent on certification)
• Provide education for patients and their families focusing on wellness, prevention, and effective disease management
• Prescribe medications and therapies in accordance with your professional scope
• Engage in patient follow-up and chronic condition management

• Maintain meticulous records within electronic medical records (EMR)

Qualifications

• Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) or Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP)
• Completion of an accredited Nurse Practitioner program

Certifications Required

• Active Nurse Practitioner license in the state of Washington
• National certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-C, AANP or ANCC) or equivalent specialty
• Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications (or willingness to secure within 90 days)
