Job Summary:
Looking for an experienced Travel Registered Nurse specialized in Cardiovascular Surgery to join a busy facility. The RN will provide high-quality patient care in the CVOR unit, supporting surgical teams and ensuring patient safety throughout procedures.

Responsibilities:

• Coordinate and deliver comprehensive preoperative and postoperative patient care tailored to cardiovascular surgery needs.
• Collaborate with surgical teams to ensure smooth operative procedures in the CVOR unit.
• Monitor patient status continuously, responding promptly to changes in vital signs or clinical condition.
• Maintain strict adherence to safety protocols, sterile techniques, and hospital policies.
• Document patient care activities accurately and efficiently in electronic medical records.
• Support patient families with updates and education related to cardiovascular procedures and recovery.

Qualifications:

• Valid RN license in the state of Florida or applicable jurisdiction.
• Minimum of 1 year of recent experience in cardiovascular or CVOR surgical units.
• Strong understanding of cardiovascular surgical procedures and perioperative care standards.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including every other weekend and holidays.
• Demonstrated excellence in patient assessment, critical thinking, and teamwork skills.
