Spreetail is looking for a driven and adaptable Area Manager to join our Away Team — a small, high-impact group designed to support facility launches, crisis response, and network-wide operations excellence. This is not a traditional site-based role. You will be embedded across our fulfillment center network, learning our operating model from the ground up and deploying where we need you most. When Spreetail opens a new fulfillment center, you will transition into permanent leadership there — equipped with the skills, relationships, and institutional knowledge to lead from day one. This role is built for someone who thrives in change, learns fast, and wants a clear path to site ownership. If you’re looking for a predictable routine, this isn’t it. If you’re looking for accelerated growth and a front-row seat to how a network-scale fulfillment operation is built — this is your role. How will you achieve success:Embed in assigned fulfillment centers during your onboarding period, contributing to daily inbound and outbound operations while building deep fluency in Spreetail’s operating model. Deploy into focus or crisis facilities when the Away Team is activated, providing rapid operational support alongside teammates to stabilize performance and accelerate recovery. Hold regular 1:1s with Leads to maximize training opportunities, address concerns, and contribute to the growth and development of fulfillment center team members. Identify and drive process improvements that result in greater efficiency, accuracy, and safety across the sites you support. Champion a safety-first culture at every facility you support — quickly assess conditions in new environments, identify and address unsafe behaviors or hazards, and treat every near-miss as a learning opportunity.
