Associate Attorney - Employment

Job Overview A law firm seeks an experienced, team-oriented associate for its Employment Practice Area in Worcester, MA. The associate will assist and support attorneys in a variety of tasks, including litigation, counseling, drafting, investigations, and training. This full-time position offers a hybrid schedule with three in-office days. Duties Draft and revise employment policies, handbooks, and agreements. Provide counseling on HR and employment compliance matters. Litigate employment cases, including wrongful termination and discrimination. Draft pleadings, motions, briefs, and correspondence. Assist in all phases of litigation, including mediations and trials. Prepare and analyze discovery productions. Communicate with clients and provide legal advice and updates. Requirements Three to five years of experience in employment law. Experience representing employers in employment disputes. Licensed to practice law in Massachusetts; additional Bar admissions are a plus. Education Juris Doctorate Degree from an accredited law school. Certifications Member of the Massachusetts Bar. Skills Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills. Attention to detail and strong proofreading skills. Time management and multitasking abilities. Strong research, writing, and verbal communication skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
