About the Position

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Registered Nurse (RN) Specialty: Rehabilitation - Med/Surg Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Nights Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: 2 years recent Med Surg Rehab experience; Charge RN experience; Previous travel experience (at least 3 months) License: New Hampshire RN license or Compact Certifications: Active American Heart Association BLS; Active American Heart Association ACLS Must-Have: Must be willing to float to other units as needed (within scope of practice); Must have own vehicle for transportation Description: The Registered Nurse will provide comprehensive nursing care for patients recovering from surgery, serious illness, or injury. This role combines medical-surgical nursing with intensive rehabilitation therapies including physical, occupational, and speech therapy. Nurses will coordinate total nursing care and participate in patient and family education. They will work collaboratively with ancillary nursing and other healthcare team personnel, upholding professional nursing standards. Nurse to patient ratio is 1 to 4 or 5 with an average daily patient census of 22. Request time off must be noted and verified prior to submission. Requests will not be accommodated after the submission. Travelers in this role must live more than 50 miles from the facility and are not eligible if residing locally. Candidates must have the ability to move between Acute Rehabilitation and Med Surg units as needed. All scheduling requests must be made at the time of submission. Requests made after the offer may lead to rescinded offers. Call-off policies will be strictly enforced, with implications for excessive call-offs. Every other weekend and holidays may be required as needed.
