Assistant General Manager

$65,000 per year based on experience + Bonus Potential- 6 month Review Are you a high-energy restaurant leader who thrives in a fast-paced, high-volume environment? We are looking for a driven Assistant General Manager to help lead a busy, iconic full-service restaurant and tavern. What You'll Do: Serve as Manager on Duty , running smooth and profitable shifts while delivering exceptional guest experiences. Oversee daily operations including staffing, scheduling, and maintaining the highest standards of service and quality. Manage labor costs and budgets - create efficient schedules and control expenses without sacrificing great service. Lead, coach, and develop a talented team of servers, bartenders, hosts, and support staff. Train and mentor new hires, helping them grow into strong contributors. Partner with the General Manager on staffing needs, performance management, and driving restaurant profitability. What We're Looking For: 2+ years of restaurant management experience (high-volume full-service preferred). Strong leadership skills with a hands-on, positive approach. Passion for great food, service, and creating memorable guest experiences. Ability to thrive in a busy, team-oriented environment. Physical Requirements: Must be able to stand/walk for long periods, bend, stoop, and lift up to 20 lbs.
