Scientist, Analytical Science and Technology (ASAT), Cell Therapy

Bristol Myers Squibb seeks a Scientist in Analytical Science and Technology to provide technical expertise for cellular therapy quality control. The role involves designing and executing laboratory experiments using bioassay, flow cytometry, and molecular biology methods, with responsibility for analytical method lifecycle management and regulatory compliance.

Responsibilities

• Execute experimental work and provide bioassay, flow cytometry, and molecular biology expertise for QC investigations
• Develop, optimize, and maintain laboratory methods and protocols for cell therapy products
• Author and review technical documents including SOPs, test methods, and investigation reports
• Support method transfer, validation, and regulatory compliance for commercial methods
• Lead projects, CAPA activities, and continuous improvement initiatives as assigned

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in relevant scientific discipline; advanced degree preferred
• 6+ years analytical experience in regulated environment, cellular therapy, or gene therapy
• Hands-on proficiency with bioassay, flow cytometry, and molecular biology techniques
• Experience with analytical method validation, transfer, and lifecycle management
• Knowledge of cGMP regulations and FDA, EMA, ICH, USP, EP guidelines
• Strong technical writing skills for protocols, SOPs, and reports
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively across functional teams

Compensation: Devens, MA: $99,380–$120,428; Seattle, WA: $102,170–$123,806
