Position Overview:

As a Cheese Packaging Associate, you will play a critical role in ensuring our cheese products are accurately and safely packaged for distribution. Your attention to detail and commitment to quality will support the company’s high standards and customer satisfaction. This role involves working in a fast-paced setting, standing for extended periods, lifting up to 50 lbs, and contributing to sanitation and safety protocols to maintain a clean and compliant workspace.

Key Responsibilities:

• Accurately and efficiently pack various types and sizes of cheese into cartons, following specified quality standards.

• Adhere to strict safety and sanitation procedures to uphold food safety regulations.

• Maintain a clean, organized workstation to facilitate efficient production and ensure compliance with food safety standards.

• Support sanitation efforts during the third shift to ensure a hygienic environment.

• Meet production targets, including mandatory overtime and weekend shifts during peak periods.

• Collaborate effectively with team members to achieve daily production goals and uphold quality standards.

Qualifications & Skills:

• High School Diploma or GED required.

• Ability to lift and handle items weighing up to 50 lbs consistently.

• Strong attention to detail and ability to perform quality inspections.

• Ability to stand for 8-10 hours in a fast-paced environment.

• Reliable, punctual, with effective communication skills.

• Flexibility to work mandatory overtime, including weekends.

• Basic understanding of safety protocols and sanitation procedures required.

Work Schedule & Compensation:

• Monday through Friday with shift options:

• 1st Shift: 5:30 AM – 2:00 PM

• 2nd Shift: 2:00 PM – 10:30 PM

• 3rd Shift (sanitation): 9:15 PM – 5:45 AM

• Overtime may be required during busy periods, including weekends.

• Competitive hourly pay of $22.56, with potential for permanent placement.

Pay Details: $22.56 per hour
