Occupational Therapist Occupational Therapy
Schedule: 8-hour shifts
Assignment Details:
- Contract Length: 12 weeks
- Guaranteed Hours: 40 per week
Requirements:
- Current state license as an Occupational Therapist
- Proof of current CPR certification
- Current driver's license
- Reliable transportation and insurance
- Two years experience as an Occupational Therapist in an acute care or rehabilitation setting
- Graduate of an accredited school of occupational therapy with a Bachelor of Science degree in Occupational Therapy
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Conduct clinical assessments to identify patient needs.
- Document and maintain patient care plans, progress notes, and clinical records.
- Facilitate and assess therapeutic interventions to address patients' functional mobility and safety related to daily activities.
- Evaluate patient performance in self-care, work, leisure, and rest activities.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams and consult with health care professionals regarding patient status.
- Promote compliance with regulations and educational requirements for quality patient care.
Compliance / Notes:
- Must comply with all necessary infection control and safety protocols.
- Accept clinical assignments consistent with expertise and competencies.
