Experienced Stock Room Associate

Gerald Industries, a DEMA Company, located in Franklin County, Missouri Job Summary We are seeking a detail-oriented, experienced, and reliable Stock Room Associate to join our Logistics team. The Stock Room Associate will play a critical role in ensuring timely and accurate distribution of parts and materials to production areas, contributing directly to operational efficiency and product quality. Ability to read and understand requirements on orders. Good communication skills, both written and verbal. Must be able to work independently and in a team environment. Must be comfortable working on an elevated platform. Forklift certification is at Company’s discretion. Essential Functions Read and understand requirements on orders. Pull and count parts from assigned locations with a barcode scanning device and accurately document on orders. Verify stock for shortages and defective products. Ensure that work centers have sufficient quantity of parts to completely assemble products. Good attendance is required for this position. Safety-sensitive position. Equipment Used Barcode scanner Weight scale Pallet jack Forklift / Joey lift / Tugger Other stockroom equipment Work Environment This job operates in a manufacturing environment with no air conditioning and loud machine noises. Employees are required to wear safety glasses at all times. Physical Requirements The employee must regularly stand in one spot for long periods, walk, use fingers and hands to feel, handle, grasp or manipulate objects, tools or controls, reach with arms above, level with, or below shoulder; bend and twist at the neck and waist, climb, squat, balance, stoop, kneel, crawl, push, pull, lift or move up to 40 pounds; and occasionally sit, talk or hear. Specific vision abilities include close, distant, peripheral depth perception and the ability to adjust focus.
