Once you finish training you will be evaluated for becoming a manager at one of our cafes. Continue to prove yourself (good labor%/sales/COGS%) – 3 months – your pay can increase rapidly. Duties & Responsibilities Works to coach a team that will deliver an amazing customer experience. Ability to coach crew members, develop shift leads that can be the best at each task and build a fun work environment. Willing to jump in on-shift, clean and organize when needed. Willing to do everything! – You must be a great crew member to become a good leader. Presents a consistent, professional image of the café & crew by maintaining all sanitation & appearance standards. Qualifications Minimum of 1 year of experience in the restaurant or fast‑casual field desired. Experience training & developing employees, or prior experience working at a Tropical Smoothie cafe. Experience providing excellent customer service. Demonstrated ability to drive operational excellence in both front of the house & back of the house. Coaching teams accomplish all tasks to brand standards. Ability to take direction from a manager and learn the skills necessary to become a manager. Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook. Effective verbal & written communication skills. Maintains & exceeds customer expectations to build brand loyalty. Takes training from Manager to learn ingredient ordering and scheduling skills. Assists all team in preparing food and smoothies to brand standards and assisting with proper stocking. Communicates & stays updated on all marketing & promotional materials. Helps manager to execute marketing & sales programs, following appropriate guidelines. Works with Manager to build café sales by cultivating relationships in the business community & initiating local store marketing campaigns.
