Join our parish family in service and faith! We are seeking a dedicated and welcoming Parish Secretary to serve as the heart of our parish office. This part-time position is more than an administrative roleit's a ministry opportunity to greet each visitor as Christ, support our faith community, and help coordinate the vital activities that bring our parish to life. This position could be full-time for the right candidate.

Position Summary: As the Parish Secretary, you will be responsible for greeting visitors, answering phones, preparing the weekly bulletin, and performing various administrative duties as assigned. You'll play a key role in creating a warm, welcoming environment while ensuring the smooth operation of parish activities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Answer phones and greet visitors with a spirit of hospitality, treating each person as if they were Jesus
• Maintain the parish event schedule
• Schedule Eucharistic ministers, lectors, greeters, and altar servers
• Prepare, print, and email the parish bulletin each week
• Post updates and events to parish webpages
• Complete administrative tasks as assigned by the pastor

Essential Qualifications:

• A fully initiated Catholic who is passionate about living out the teachings of the Catholic Church
• Excellent understanding and working knowledge of all desktop applications included in the Microsoft Office Suite and various web applications
• Education: An associate or bachelor's degree is preferred
• Experience: 3 to 5 years of experience in office administration preferred
• Due to the mission nature of this position, preference will be given to Catholic candidates.
