Job Details The Physical Therapist is responsible for delivering direct care to patients and utilizing physical agents as prescribed by a referring physician. Responsibilities Evaluates patient and creates treatment plan Employee is able to provide verbal and written educational material to patients when appropriate Recognizes the need for involvement of other disciplines Creates a recommended discharge plan Performs and records daily clinical notes Participates in performance improvement initiatives and completes department mandatory in‑service/training/competency within specified time frame Participates in education of staff and students within the medical center Requirements Bachelor of Science Degree in Physical Therapy or Master’s degree or higher in Physical Therapy. Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) preferred. Licensed and registered PT in the State of New York. BLS required. Salary Range USD $60.94 - USD $60.94 /Hr. This range serves as a good faith estimate and actual pay will encompass a number of factors, including a candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies and experience. The salary range or rate listed does not include any bonuses/incentive, differential pay or other forms of compensation that may be applicable to this job and it does not include the value of benefits.
